The 3CX1500A7 electronic tube is a cermet structure, a side-heated oxidizing cathode, forced air cooling, and a high-magnification coefficient triode. The maximum operating frequency of the tube is 250MHz, and the maximum dissipated power of the anode is 1500W. Feng should be applied to the cathodic excitation of Class AB or Class B amplifiers, or to Class C amplifiers for cathode excitation plate modulation. Use as a linear amplifier can obtain high power gain and low intermodulation distortion.
